We are looking for skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform accurate diagnostic testing, manage sample processing, maintain lab equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards in a clinical lab environment.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and sort patient samples for various testing.
Perform testing in a clinical diagnostic and molecular laboratory.
Run control of biochemistry, immunology, and hematology analyzers and ensure all QC and controls are within range before analyzing patients' samples daily.
Perform nucleic acid extraction and show competency in handling manual or automated extraction.
Prepare samples for molecular (RT-PCR) testing.
Collect nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, and nasal samples from patients.
Ensure operation of lab equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Monitor programs to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
Maintain laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expending orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserve laboratory resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Maintain inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Ensure stringent follow-up of the ISO 15189.
Ensure proper records are maintained at all stages of testing and quality assurance.
Analyze complaints by reviewing related records and take action accordingly.
Perform phlebotomy on patients.
Protect patient and employee by adhering to infection-control and hazardous waste policies and protocols; following identification procedures.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results needed.
Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Science, Applied Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Medicine, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Basic knowledge in various laboratory specialties.
Preferably experienced in multi-discipline clinical laboratories or hospitals.
Familiarity with the phlebotomy process is an advantage.
Ability to manage tasks independently.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
