Medical Officer (A&E)

JOB SUMMARY
Medical Officers are responsible for providing comprehensive medical services, including 24-hour rotational coverage for outpatient and emergency care, handle medical emergencies, and refer cases to consultants as needed.
MOs must maintain detailed medical records, collaborate with the Nursing Administration to ensure smooth departmental operations, assist consultants in case reviews, attend resuscitation drills, and participate in in-house training programs.
In the inpatient setting, MOs are tasked with reviewing patients, coordinating care with consultants, and ensuring that all management details are executed as per consultant instructions.
They provide emergency care during Code Blue situations, including resuscitation and intubation, and discharge patients with appropriate medication if requested by consultants.
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATION & QUALIFICATION
MBBS / MD or equivalent from recognized institutions.
Registered with MMC and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
Substantial hands-on experience in Accident & Emergency unit in established Private Medical Centre or major public hospitals.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer oriented.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Other language or dialects is an added advantage.
