Product Management & Development (Marketing & Communications)
Responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycles, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Executive also needs to ensure the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve budgeted levels of sales and gross margins by planning and implementing effective sales and marketing plans inclusive of workshops, in-service, CME activities, and other relevant platforms.
Develop marketing communication and advertising plans for assigned brands to ensure they are aligned with the brand plan to support business objectives.
Ensure advertising and promotional costs are in line with the agreed budget by constant monitoring and controlling processes.
Specify market requirements by conducting market research to translate into strategic brand plans that will increase market share.
Carry out marketing post-mortem exercises and propose appropriate mitigation plans in a manner that will achieve desired business objectives.
Product line expansion to increase revenue or market share which includes developing launch plans, determining price levels by utilizing market research data, etc.
Work closely with the sales team to develop product sales strategies and implement effective product promotional campaigns.
Provide the sales team with the necessary technical expertise including product training to enable them to sell the product to customers, which involves printed and electronic promotional materials and relevant clinical papers.
Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
Ensure trade returns are managed within contractual agreements.
Develop detailing aids/materials for the sales team to promote the products effectively.
Guide, supervise, train, and motivate reporting team members to ensure their effective performance to achieve product management objectives, and also ensure their adherence to company rules and regulations, discipline, and procedures at all times.
Delegate and ensure fair distribution of projects to subordinates and ensure the continuity of all projects managed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field.
Minimum 1 year of related working experience in product management and marketing related experience in the medical industry.
Strong conceptualization, project management, and marketing skills.
Good business acumen.
Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively and critically, as well as look beyond the obvious when developing solutions.
Ability to work independently, result-oriented, and function within a team.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
Dedicated to meeting expectations of customers, customer-centric.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications.
Possess own transport and able to travel extensively within Malaysia.
Proficient in social media is an added advantage.
