Medical Professionals - Asia Pacific

We are looking for medical professionals who will join our Reach Beyond field team to serve among marginalized peoples in Asia Pacific. Opportunities to develop medical service in the region include mobile caravans, serving in a hospital or rehabilitation setting, wellness education for refugees, and more. The setting is often informal and the critically important building of relationships over time requires patience and grace. In this community-based work, the acquisition of some language skills and sensitivity to cultural norms is crucial to gaining credibility.
Minimum Requirements:A passion for disciple-making among unreached people
A medical background (doctor, physician assistant, nurse, midwife, etc.)
The ability and desire to live and work overseas
Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
A willingness to work with local partners
Flexibility and a tolerance for uncertainty
The ability and desire to go to the field now (within 1 year), including time to raise your support and/or be self-funded
A commitment to serving long-term in this position
