Responsibilities: Monitor effective implementation of all activities and analyze risk management for merchandiser.
Provide input to category specialist to develop POGs for stores - Area specific product ranging.
Develop adjacencies for non-standard store layouts with RNEG and category specialists Advocate dealer on Merchandising at site level Visit various store & determined certain types of POG within designated markets.
Verify dealers on type of POG to use/follow.
Assist in promotional activities & campaigns.
Ensure timely instore set up that is appropriate ad support Treat's customer experience.
Site inspection and reset stores with correct POG from time to time.
Determine competition in local trade area including service station and stand alone C-stores, hypermarkets & QSR with fuel offerings.
Survey competitive landscape - look for major changes, new operating practices, customer offers and promotions.
Conduct pricing survey of competitors in the trade area.
MS to note pricing of key SKUs to be familiar with pricing levels in the trade area and be aware of potential impact on out category or SKU sales performance.
Address issues on POG compliance at store.
Address root causes for consistent out of stocks - coaching, inventory levels, stock ordering, suppliers etc.
Work closely with CS on merchandising initiatives and store operations teams on the development of new concepts; collaborate on the development and design of fixtures, signing, security devices and other in store displays.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Supply Chain Management with a relevant background.
Minimum 3-5 years in monitoring convenience store products and develop strategies to increase business opportunities.
Extensive experience in FMCG, QSR, or Category Management is esssential.
Proficient in researching and analyzing data and market insights.
Possesses strong negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide is a must.
Capable of working under strict timelines.
Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Knowledge of planogram, space management and supply chain management is an added advantage.
