**About the Job**The Merchandising Executive is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. You will be working closely with the Merchandising Manager to ensure that product assortments are attractive, appropriately priced, and readily available for customers. This role involves coordinating with various teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to facilitate the successful implementation of merchandising plans.- Assist the Merchandising Manager in creating and implementing effective merchandising strategies that are in line with the company's goals.- Assist in the analysis of market trends, sales statistics, and client preferences in order to make wise product selection and positioning decisions.- Coordination with suppliers and vendors is required to ensure timely purchase and delivery of merchandise, while stock levels and replenishment requirements are monitored.- Participate in the planning and execution of product displays and promotions in order to increase the visual attractiveness of items and drive sales.- Make regular store visits to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising tactics and collect feedback from customers and store employees.- Assist in negotiating competitive pricing and terms for item purchase with suppliers.- Work with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and initiatives that support overall merchandising goals.**Job Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or a related field.- Previous experience in a similar role within the retail or consumer goods industry may be preferred.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Knowledge of merchandising principles, planogram management, retail operations, and customer behavior is advantageous.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
