Merchandising Manager

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Makes decisions about what a store or chain purchases and helps negotiate the cost of the goods for the store.
Determine the price that the store sells the goods for in order to make a profit.
To develop customer wants based on attractive assortment and pricing.
To set department budget and manage for GP, Inventory ad sales to achieve it.
Promotion planning (weekly and monthly).
Research, analyst and interpret market trends, data and translate it into sales.
Accurately forecast and manage products levels.
Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with purchasing/buyers.
Make good relationships with suppliers on win-win situation REQUIREMENTS Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business / marketing or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
Good command of MS Office (i.e.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Able to thrive in high-stress and fast-paced environment.
Good communications in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Data analytical skills.
Commercial sense and good negotiation abilities.
