Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.Responsible for servicing clients with merchant accounts to secure the settlement of the account.This potentially covers the setup, maintenance, linkage and payments of merchant accounts.Assist Merchants with completing servicing requestsCollaborate with multiple Merchant and Payment teams to tailor servicing strategies that meet Merchant needsResolve complex/escalated service requests with precision and urgencyProactively identify procedural/operational opportunities and implement solutions that lead to improved Merchant journeys and satisfactionAssist Merchants with their operational needs by offering a variety of American Express payment products/servicesLead and/or participate in special projects required to support Merchants key business objectivesMinimum QualificationsAn ability to analyze data effectively and implement changes to reduce demand.Strong knowledge and belief in growth mindset, highly accountable and intrinsically motivated.Must understand Customer First ethos and the American Express brand and products.Solid understanding of Merchant Servicing highly desired.Excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills as well as proven verbal & written communication skills.Must have a high degree of attention to details with very good sense of ownership and good decision making skills.We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
