Job DescriptionImplement Nexeed MES, CMMES and Traceability systems at PgP1 and ensure smooth operations in PgP1.
Setup and manage plant MES Infrastructure, system configuration, technical installations, and data transfer according to MES@ME and BCI standards.
Troubleshoot and fix MES and Traceability issues that occur in daily operations to ensure stable operations of the systems in the plant.
Support the IT emergency concept in the plant to ensure IT systems are up and running.
Support training of key users in operations and service teams across the plant.
Schedule and perform Nexeed MES and Traceability system updates in the plant when required.
Participate in the ME Nexeed MES and Traceability competence network, with periodical teleconferences and yearly meetings.
Support the implementation of Industry 4.0, Connectivity, Data transfer configurations, and Analytics in MES.
Coordinate working with Global MES, PLC, ME/MFD, BCI, and Machine connectivity teams to implement MES systems in the plant to ensure standards in deployment and continuous operations.
Any other work-related duties assigned by the immediate superior, especially during emergency times.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree/Master in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Education Field (Bachelor or equivalent technical disciplines for industry).
Minimum 3 - 5 years' proven experience.
Project experience minimum requirement of 2 years.
Practical experience in MES, PLC, IT Systems, and Data Applications.
Strong understanding of Data types, file types, and file processing.
Logical understanding of programming (written code and functions).
Familiar with monitoring tools for plant application services.
Strong experience in Oracle, SQL, Scripting, and VB.NET.
Experience in working on IT infrastructure, Applications, and Services (Server and Database management, Networks, Upgrades, and handling restart of application services).
Drive and pick up improvement topics around MES engineering independently.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a clearly and simply way so those things are understood and get done.
