Microbiologist

**Responsibilities**:- Perform microbiological analysis of environmental samples based on standard test method.- Organize, execute, coordinate, supervise and monitor daily laboratory operation. Summarize analysis data and prepare test reports.- Study and develop new test as per market requirement. Prepare & update Work Instructions (WI) / SOPs.- Schedule checks and maintenance on analytical instruments.- Validate and develop test methods in **compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 requirement.**:- To perform site microbial testing / sampling, when needed.- Responsible to maintain and update laboratory's quality control documents and records in compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 requirement.- **Immediate vacancy / able to start work in March 2024****Required Skill(s)**:- Degree in Microbiology / Food Technology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related disciplines.- Minimum 2-3 years' relevant hands-on microbiological testing experience is a must.- Experience in setting-up and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation for routine tests and analysis.- Possess strong supervision and leadership skills in microbiological testing.- Possess knowledge or competent in Quality Management System, particularly ISO/IEC 17025 will be an added advantage.- Able to communicate effectively and computer literate.- Passionate about laboratory analysis work with good time management.Working day : Monday ~ Friday & Alternate SaturdayWorking Location : Bandar Baru Permas Jaya, Johor**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- When will be your availability date ?- How many years of ISO IEC 17025 compliance experience ?
