Supervise the operation and maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for all assigned laboratories.
Providing support for the testing of raw material, finished product & external samples within MHC Groups.
Key AccountabilitiesPerform and supervise sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin tests.
Perform and supervise microbiological testing on process water, environmental monitoring on Controlled Environment Room and production area.
Test method validations in compliance with International Standards.
Test method modification and development and validation of new methods.
Sterilisation validation and dose verification activities in accordance with ISO 11137 and ISO 11737.
Routine analysis of data and investigate or troubleshoot on equipment, testing, and process abnormalities.
Key DecisionsAdvise on disposition of raw material/bulk/finished goods that conform to the microbiological specification.
Support manufacturing and packaging in investigating incidents of microbiological non-conformances.
CapabilitiesAnalytical and strategic skills.
Regulatory requirements & standards for medical devices.
Product / Material knowledge.
Test methodology knowledge.
QualificationsDegree in Microbiology or a major science equivalent.
At least one year working experience in a related field with proven supervisory capability.
Computer literacy is an asset.
Any other information
Based at Kuala Ketil Microbiology Laboratory and required to travel to Kulim Main Plant and Kulim Hi Tech Plant Laboratory to manage lab activities periodically.
