Microsoft - Master Trainer (Contract)

Seeking the role of product specialist in Microsoft consumer and retail field position internally called as MASTER TRAINER, prioritize knowledge and skill around Microsoft consumer ecosystem, products and services.
Support a wide range of partners both physically and online as well as their workshops and big events.
Be a face of Microsoft to handle with press on new product launch alongside assisting KOL doing their content with products related, also creating and managing social assets like video or livestream on Facebook and YouTube platform.
Not only product knowledge skills, soft skills like storytelling and gamification utilization are extra plus understanding and being able to conduct social campaign related to diversity and inclusive, accessibility campaign for instance.
Job Description
Understanding Microsoft consumer line of business:
Clarify each unique key selling point and specs of each Surface with ability to bring the hardware to life
Tell the difference between Microsoft 365 and Office licensing and ESD and their unique selling points, benefits and features
Windows 11 key selling points, benefits and features
PC Game Pass key selling points, benefits and features
Xbox Wireless Controller key selling points, benefits and features
Copilot+ PCs and AI in Windows key selling points, benefits and features
Understanding each major silicon partners – Qualcomm, Intel and AMD of their benefits towards Surface and modern PCs
Understanding across tech industries as well as direct and indirect competitors like Apple
Being able to demo all the above-mentioned products with storytelling technique is the key prioritized upon this role
Utilize and create training materials for Retail Pros and partners:
Follow the Corp guideline and steps on how to use each training material, demo script as well as create local training materials and ROD - readiness on demand as a summarized of the newly launched products to be shared across retail pros and partners as references
Follow Microsoft brand and marketing guideline on each step of creating any assets
Training materials also included videos of product review and demo
Maintain local post on social platforms as an alternative way for Retail Pros to learn more about the products and services
Prioritize supporting direct managed, disti, OEM and silicon partners on all Microsoft consumer related:
Communicate and schedule as being asked from partners on hosting training session and workshop
Work with partners on their big event to be face of Microsoft on stage telling Microsoft story
Support them in providing additional essential knowledge and key information
For direct managed partner – constantly train their Retail Pros to be able to understand the products and know how to sell, support them on the event as well as in-store workshop
For disti – support them as possible on the event that needs consumer master trainer
For OEM and silicon partners – do train their promoters in Microsoft related products as well as being a face of Microsoft on their launch event, support any additional information needed
Great presenter skills utilizing space on stage, keynote and understanding target audiences:
Being a Microsoft representative in partners' event, prepare and conduct a keynote using storytelling and great demo technique
Be confident and stand out on stage and at the training site
Solve unexpected problems facing in a short period of time like from the device, connection or agency to maintain and deliver the best training experience to target audiences
Create and run a pattern of partner workshop like Copilot for end users and Microsoft 365 on Mac
Manage and maintain social platforms aligned with products, campaign and KPIs:
Create and publish long form & short videos in ExpertZone Malaysia YouTube channel
Create social contents which are relevant to local or market with creativity and impactful
Maintain the average video views, impression and click-through rate of primary account – YouTube
Support partners and disti on ecommerce platform livestream like Shopee and Lazada double digit
Submit each training and event through Microsoft reporting system - RepTool:
Maintain training cadence and always submit the report to RepTool as a record
Create and summarize monthly business report – MBU to update what has been happening throughout the month with all the detail and information needed
Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly KPI target as set up with stakeholder
Attend weekly, monthly online meetings hosted by regions and worldwide
Skill Requirement:
It is always a plus to have extra skills like soft skills and storytelling as well as global and social campaign.
Soft skills are key part of Microsoft training cadence where not only telling what the products are but using storytelling technique to show benefits
Representing global and social campaigns by adding topics like diversity and inclusive, accessibility and sustainability to each internal training aligned with products and services to create brand value and bring the story to life#J-18808-Ljbffr
