We are seeking an experienced supervisor to take care of our mushroom plantation operations in Miri, Sarawak.
(Location: Permyjaya Miri)
As a full-time supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure the efficient and effective management of our plantation assets, sales, and marketing.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the work of plantation workers to ensure high standards of maintenance and product delivery to supermarkets and restaurants.
Develop and implement weekly schedules (to discuss with the management team) for worker task assignments to achieve targeted production and sales.
Daily update and report to the management team on daily work status after work.
Monitor the health and condition of the mushroom plantation and implement appropriate care and maintenance measures.
Oversee the maintenance of equipment and tools in the factory, and coordinate procurement of necessary supplies.
Provide training and guidance to team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations in the workspace.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our plantation operations.
Source clients for product sales.
What we're looking for
Minimum 1-5 years' experience as a Supervisor in gardening, plantation, landscaping, or horticultural operations.
Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve high standards of work.
Strong knowledge of plantation and horticulture, including plant care, pest and disease management, and landscaping techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges.
Proficient in the use of basic technical maintenance, gardening, and landscaping equipment and tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Certification in plantation, horticulture, landscaping, or a related field would be an advantage.
