National Account Manager (Penang)

Your new companyYou will be joining a reputable multinational organisation who specialise in the freight forwarding industry.
In line with their expansion plans for the northern region, they seek an experienced National Account Manager to be based at their Penang office.Your new role- Oversee the rollout of new services in partnership with operational teams at all locations.
- Achieve the assigned target accounts and GP level set by the company.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
- Build relationships within the organizational structure of Global and MNC accounts beyond just primary contacts.
- Meet assigned targets for accounts and gross profit levels set by the company.
- Ensure all branches servicing accounts are familiar with and follow the SOPs.
- Track account performance, manage rates, monitor payments, and assist with collections on overdue invoices.What you'll need to succeedMinimum five years' experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
Solid network and understanding in freight sales.
Strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
