Network Engineer in charge of the technical aspect in implementing and supporting IT network projects for clients. Their duties include attending project meetings, technical requirement studies, project planning, and technical deployment of the network infrastructure projects with other project team members. Other responsibilities include participating in technical support for any possible network operation faults, fine-tuning, and maintenance.
Requirement:
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications), or equivalent
IT Network knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, Wireless)
IT Security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy, and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
Ability to understand and produce network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network systems
Strong ability with an interest in picking up and learning new technology or solutions through technical research, training, hands-on trial, and self R&D
Proficient in English communication with the ability to speak and write effectively, capable of responding to calls and meetings with customers, team members, and vendors
Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring, and network diagnostics
CCNA/HCIA or higher would be an added advantage
Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be an advantage
Result-oriented with excellent process and SOP execution skills and the right attitude is important.
Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in an IT network support position
Responsibilities:
Participate in given technical assignments in the company's network infrastructure projects.
Involve and take part in project studies for network infrastructure design
Communicate and collaborate with multi-tier personnel, such as clients, partners, and vendors for the scope of deliverables.
Take part in project delivery, management, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of network infrastructure
Prepare pre and post-project documentation
Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for solution resolution and escalation if required.
Attend to Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA
Act as an advisor and technical educator for non-technical team members in aspects of IT network knowledge and know-how.

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
