Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network infrastructure, with a focus on maintaining a secure and compliant environment in accordance with BNM regulations and PCI-DSS standards. This position involves working across multiple environments, including PROD, DR, DEV, SIT, and UAT, spanning two data centres. The role requires a proactive approach to business-as-usual (BAU) operations, involving ticketing systems, task updates, and comprehensive documentation in the changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Network Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure in compliance with BNM regulations and PCI-DSS standards. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security across PROD, DR, DEV, SIT, and UAT environments 2. BAU Operations:
Execute day-to-day operational tasks related to the network infrastructure. Respond promptly to network issues, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents efficiently. Utilize ticketing systems to manage and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely completion. 3.Change Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes in the network environment. Document all change requests, including details of the change, testing procedures, and outcomes. Regularly update task progress, providing clear and concise communication to relevant stakeholders 4.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. Keep documentation up-to-date in line with changes and improvements in the network environment. 5.Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other IT teams, including security, systems, and application teams, to achieve overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on task progress and issue resolution. Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a regulated environment (BNM, PCI-DSS). Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles. Experience with two data center environments is highly desirable. Proficiency in using ticketing systems for task management. Excellent documentation skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. To Apply
