Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or min. 5 years work experience in fastener industry. (7 years for senior position).? Familiar with computer program AutoCAD.? Minimum 4 years' experience in fastener tooling design and development.? Have exploration of tool design, process design and product design.? Knowledge in ISO/TS quality standard.? Familiar with international fastener standard such as DIN, ISO, ANSI, JIS etc.? Familiar with Patents, Torx, Torx plus, REMINC, EJOT PT etc.? Ability to communicate in a matrix environment, Ability to do machine setup is an added advantage.? Design and Preparation of technical drawings for process.? Conducting & managing First Article meetings and coordinating until submission.? Must be a team player & ability to co-ordinate and drive things internally.? Provide Technical support to production on tooling related issues.? Understand the various technical standards relating to fastening systems? Provide tooling related information to facilitate product costing.? Preparation of Bill of material in QAD system for new products.? Updating tool change records (TCR).? Involving in cost reduction activities related to tool design improvements.? Maintaining the confidentiality of all technical documents and information.? Perform other task assign by superior or company from time to time? Interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal resources.? Demonstrating advanced knowledge of project and program management principals.? Using project management tools to manage large and complex projects or programs and also mentoring other project managers.? Facilitating identification of project or program risks, developing and assigning responsibility for mitigation actions, and managing the mitigation plan.?
