Job Description We are seeking a professional and decisive Night Duty Manager to join our team at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
Manage and supervise all night shift staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and security personnel Be the point of contact for any emergency, incidents and act as the overall in charge in the absence of senior leadership during the night shift in the resort.
Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently Monitor and maintain hotel security, safety protocols, and emergency procedures Handle and resolve guest complaints and escalated issues professionally and effectively Oversee night audit processes and ensure accurate financial reporting Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to maintain quality standards Manage inventory and supplies for night shift operations Train and mentor night shift staff to improve performance and maintain service standards Prepare detailed shift reports and communicate important information to day shift management Qualifications Proven experience of 3-5 years in hotel management or related field, with a focus on night shift operations Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations Proficiency in hotel management software and systems Exceptional time management and multitasking capabilities In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, procedures, and industry best practices Thorough understanding of safety and security protocols in a hotel environment Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in the hospitality industry First Aid and CPR certification Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
