Job Description We are seeking a professional and decisive Night Duty Manager to join our team at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
Manage and supervise all night shift staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and security personnelBe the point of contact for any emergency, incidents and act as the overall in charge in the absence of senior leadership during the night shift in the resort.Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and efficientlyMonitor and maintain hotel security, safety protocols, and emergency proceduresHandle and resolve guest complaints and escalated issues professionally and effectivelyOversee night audit processes and ensure accurate financial reportingCoordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfactionConduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to maintain quality standardsManage inventory and supplies for night shift operationsTrain and mentor night shift staff to improve performance and maintain service standardsPrepare detailed shift reports and communicate important information to day shift management Qualifications Proven experience of 3-5 years in hotel management or related field, with a focus on night shift operationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectivelyAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situationsProficiency in hotel management software and systemsExceptional time management and multitasking capabilitiesIn-depth knowledge of hotel operations, procedures, and industry best practicesThorough understanding of safety and security protocols in a hotel environmentFamiliarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in the hospitality industryFirst Aid and CPR certificationFlexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbility to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
