We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Network Operations Center (NOC) Operator to join our team. As a NOC Operator, you will play a critical role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure 24/7. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, responding to incidents, and proactively identifying potential issues.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance metrics, including bandwidth utilization, latency, and error rates. Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and diagnose network issues. Proactively identify and resolve potential network problems before they impact service delivery. 2. Incident Response: Respond to network incidents promptly and efficiently, following established procedures. Troubleshoot network issues, including hardware, software, and configuration problems. Escalate critical issues to higher-level support teams as needed. 3. Network Configuration: Configure network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to meet business requirements. Implement network changes in a controlled and documented manner. 4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma in IT or Bachelor of IT or equivalent Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as PRTG. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment CCNA or equivalent certification (preferred) Must be able to speak, write and read English, Bahasa and Chinese
