JR58846 NPI Technician
Job Description:
• NPI Technician is responsible for provision of technical support to New Product Introduction teams. • • • Working closely with NPI Engineers, the NPI Technician is proficient in line setup
• First point of contact for engineers to perform first level check such as incoming material , BOM, SOP, body marking of component during first build run
• Responsible to troubleshoot line issues and provide root cause analysis
• Assist engineer to monitor critical NPI builds and responsible for good yield, data accuracy and build verification
• Work together with NPI mfg team to maintain NPI line 6S activities
• Support NPI activities such as labelling, shipment and other necessary tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Responsible to ensure sample execution, meet the build timeline, and on-time delivery
Requirement:
• Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience with relevant engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
• Robotic/ AOI/5DX experience will be an added advantage.
Basic computer & Microsoft Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in working in a dynamic environment
• Basic analytic skill, fast learner, independent, highly motivated and a good team player.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
Experienced with SMT line and part validation as per IPC-A-610
