Learn, absorb, practice, and share with other teachers the spirit and content of The Little Caliphs Program (TLCP).
Understand the TLCP curriculum, syllabus and content in accordance to Little Caliphs teaching methodology and TLCP quality audit requirements.
Ensure that the weekly lesson is discussed and planned with principals / academic coordinators.
Ensure children lesson plan and reading records are filled, checked and corrected regularly in accordance to TLCP Quality Audit Guideline.
Ensure students' reading target is achieved and well-strategized.
Ensure children assessments are captured and documented in the Monthly parents communication book in accordance to TLCP standards.
Ensure assigned kindergarten classroom decorations and teaching aids are updated accordingly, always neat, and tidy.
Mark student books and coordinate all students learning material and maintain the proper arrangement of student learning material in the classroom.
Manage student teaching and learning to ensure well-organized classroom management.
Assist the principal in ensuring submission and recording of children progress and documentation to parents/guardian.
Assist the principal in updating and sharing activities with parents in social media and parents-teacher meetings.
KINDERGARTEN OPERATIONS
- Conduct and monitor children activities in kindergartens such as solat, mealtime, and nap time.
- Prepare and train students for events such as Sports Day, Ihtifal and Mini-Concert.
- Document student attendance, ensure safety, well-being and treat each child with love and care at all times.
- Assist principals in updating parents/guardians on children progress and all documents such as Parents Monthly Communication Book, folio, assessment, report are kept in order.
- Communicate and work together with other staff to ensure smooth kindergarten academic and operations.
- Attend all meetings and events for kindergarten such as fortnightly theme planning, monthly meeting, weekly usrah, daily Ta'alim and teachers training.
- Assist children in taking wudhu, taking bath, getting dressed, eating and cleaning of themselves.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students from the arrival of the students to dismissal.
- Portray pleasant and Islamic images as LCISB Representatives to parents and the local community.
- Follow and comply with SOP, SPP and other guidelines that are set by the management of LCISB.
DAYCARE
- Ensure health and safety of children from their arrival until dismissal.
- Execute school holiday program and teachers' scheduling.
- Ensure smooth operations in preparing and handling food for breakfast, lunch and tea-time.
- Assist (when required) head of daycare in preparing children formula according to a feeding schedule and ensure the cleanliness of the feeding equipment.
- Ensure smooth operations of daycare operations and activities at kindergarten.
- Assist in maintaining and upkeep of all daycare equipment, sanitization of premise and toys.
- Ensure cleanliness and supervise all cleaning activities at the daycare area.
- Perform other duties when needed such as assisting in kindergarten events, opening or closing the kindergarten's gate based on kindy schedule.
- Prepare to become a Senior Teacher / Academic Coordinator.
