Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator (Construction)Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, procedures, and systems to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Oversee, track, and report on the progress of projects and site activities.
Provide regular updates on project status to management and follow up on any outstanding tasks or issues.
Work closely with sub-contractors, suppliers, and relevant departments to resolve site or operational challenges.
Ensure all work is executed according to project specifications, drawings, construction plans, and safety procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Organize and monitor daily site operations, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines.
Assist in investigating safety incidents and provide actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences and enhance safety measures.
Lead by example in promoting safety awareness and conduct safety training for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements:
Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the construction or subcontracting industry or equivalent.
Completion of OSH Coordinator Training Program, accredited by DOSH or a DOSH-approved training provider.
