About the roleThis full-time Officer, Accounting role at UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd offers an exciting opportunity to join an established financial services firm based in Penang Island, Malaysia.
You will be responsible for handling a range of accounting duties to support the smooth operation of the company.
What you'll be doing
Process payments to relevant parties using electronic transfer
Prepare journal entries
Assist in month-end book closing
Assist in the preparation of documents requested by external auditors
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
What we're looking for
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL Accounting Software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders
Proactive, organised and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
Able to work independently
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
