**Job Description:**
Boustead Holdings Berhad is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Online Accounts Receivable Associate. This part-time position is based in our Johor Bahru office and requires an energetic and confident individual with a strong background in accounts receivable management. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all online accounts receivable processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing and collections.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Invoice Generation and Management:**
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients, ensuring all details are complete and compliant with company standards.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and address discrepancies in invoices promptly.
2. **Collection Efforts:**
- Conduct timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices and overdue accounts through various communication channels (email, phone, etc.).
- Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize overdue balances and improve cash flow.
3. **Account Reconciliation:**
- Assist in reconciling accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and assist in closing monthly financial statements.
4. **Customer Relations:**
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies.
5. **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable performance and outstanding balances.
- Document and maintain records of all communications and collections activities.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure accurate communication regarding client accounts and credit terms.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss accounts receivable strategies and share insights for process improvement.
7. **Compliance:**
- Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable practices and data handling.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to policy development.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related functions.
- **Skills:**
- Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and online invoicing systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Personality Traits:**
