### Job Description:
Westports Holdings Berhad is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Online Accounts Receivable Associate** to join our finance team. This part-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to our financial operations while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in managing our accounts receivable process, ensuring efficient cash flow management, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Accounts Receivable Management:**
- Responsible for the timely and accurate tracking of customer invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues and follow up on overdue accounts using proactive communication strategies.
- **Financial Reporting:**
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable activities, including reconciliations and reports to enhance visibility into cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable metrics.
- **Software Utilization:**
- Utilize online accounting software and tools to automate and streamline the accounts receivable process, ensuring data accuracy and efficient record-sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of our processes.
- **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Work closely with internal teams, such as Sales and Customer Service, to facilitate communication regarding billing and payment issues.
- Provide training and support to staff on questions related to accounts receivable and enhance team understanding of accounts management processes.
- **Compliance and Best Practices:**
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and relevant financial regulations in all accounts receivable activities.
- Contribute creative solutions for improvements and strategic planning in the accounts receivable process and overall financial operations.
### Requirements:
- **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or relevant financial roles.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Confident and self-assured in managing responsibilities and interacting with clients and team members.
- Hardworking with a strong desire to pursue excellence in all aspects of the role.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Exceptional strategic planning skills to foresee potential challenges and opportunities within the accounts receivable function.
