The Role
Main Responsibilities:
Preparing lessons according to the aims and objectives of the Academy and the program of study.
Teaching the pupil(s) assigned and is responsible for the welfare of the pupil(s) for the time of the lesson.
Maintaining the good order and discipline of the pupil(s) and safeguarding their health and safety while under your supervision.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development progress and attainment of the pupil(s) by procedures laid down.
Communicating with and giving feedback to parents of the pupil(s) regularly.
Liaising, when appropriate, with colleagues, to ensure continuity of teaching and learning in each class.
Supervising and, as far as is practicable, teaching any pupil whose tutor is not available to teach them.
Participating in as appropriate any meetings affecting the Academy and its pupil(s).
Participating in arrangements for training, professional development as a tutor and appraisal.
Carrying out any other duties which the Head may reasonably require.
Sound Internet connection and a quiet environment.
Ideal Profile
English Native Speakers to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
Degree from a University (or equivalent) or TEFL / CELTA qualification
Teaching Qualification PGCE or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Passionate about education with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on student availability.
