Operation Executive

Managing the Operations Department in the transport (road tankers and cargo lorries) planning, scheduling, and day-to-day execution of customer orders, to ensure timely fulfilment and safe product delivery.
Managing the Operations Department team, including lorry drivers, to foster an excellence culture through coaching, mentoring, motivation, and engagement in pursuit of continuous improvement.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize the resources, such as manpower and fleet utilization.
Prepare, manage, and present operation reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze the data for future improvements.
Ensure compliance with road transport standards, rules, and applicable legislation, corporate policies and standards, customers' requirements, Health, Safety and Environment requirements, and industry standards.
Prompt action to address or resolve any product delivery concerns, including those arising from events, accidents, incidents, customer complaints, and so on.
Establish and maintain a good relationship with customers and relevant stakeholders.
Accomplishing any other duties as may be reasonably directed or delegated by the superiors.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies Required:
Diploma/degree in a relevant field, particularly transport/logistics management.
Must have a minimum of five years of management-level experience in the transportation/logistics industry.
Experience with road transport management systems, including but not limited to Malaysian land transport laws and regulations, human resources, health, safety, and the environment.
Computer proficient with a strong application of Microsoft software, presentation and literacy abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Highly self-motivated, forceful, assertive and resilient with a high level of integrity and work ethics.
Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to the outstation as needed.
Customer-focused, with strong leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 road transport environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
