Operation & Maintenance Technical Manager (Based in Kuching) - MRO AMSMain duty is to lead, manage, problem-solve 2nd level support & troubleshooting, RCA, customer reporting, guiding & assisting other Back Office engineers.
Plan and execute Corrective and Preventive maintenance of Core, Radio, Transmission, IPBB/DCN, VAS network elements within defined SLA's.
Fault management in terms of coordination among other Back Office teams (Core, Radio, Transmission, VAS, IPBB, DCN).
Configuration management for Core, Radio, Transmission, IPBB/DCN, VAS network elements and services.
Performance monitoring of Core, Radio, Transmission, IPBB/DCN, VAS equipment and its links to ensure availability of the network.
Audit of existing network and suggestion of improvement plans.
Planning support by providing network topology and information.
Coordination with customer and MS internal stakeholders.
Performance evaluation of Back Office resource.
Authority:
Approval of the reports generated, job rotation, shift/leave management.
Ensure that the BO team has the required skills and competence to perform their tasks efficiently.
Guide & support the Back-Office Engineers.
Support the team in advanced troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Review the Performance Evaluations done by the Team leaders.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
Technical skills:
Minimum 3 years working experience as Back Office Manager/Lead managing multiple domains i.e.
RAN, CORE etc.
Minimum 2 years working experience as Back Office engineer in operation & maintenance for any domain i.e.
RAN, CORE, etc.
Very Good knowledge of service networks / service applications characteristics and capabilities
Very Good knowledge of service performance indicators and their interpretation
Very Good support system knowledge and shall be able to use required applications after proper set-up, with use of documentation without further assistance
Very Good knowledge of services and service applications implementation / integration processes.
Very Good knowledge in either Wireless LTE, Core or both.
Good knowledge and practical skills in any global process i.e.
ETOM, FCAPS, ITIL.
Other skills:
Good leadership and communication skills, especially in handling technical requirements.
Ability to manage the team and create team spirit in a positive manner.
Innovative and creative.
Self-driven, result-oriented, very good coordination and communication skills.
