Operation Manager/ Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the back office and the manufacturing teams.
Maintain constant communication with management, staff, suppliers & customers to ensure proper operations of the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization's internal capacity.
Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
Heavy involvement in the company's planning, policy, and strategic decisions.
Ensure all relevant legal and regulatory documents are filed to guarantee compliance with the relevant authorities.
Development, implementation, and review of new policies and procedures.
Examine the financial data and use your findings to improve profitability.
Think of ideas to improve the level of customer service.
Hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees.
Outlining the company's expectations to employees.
Planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing staff's work.
Enforcing company policies and procedures.
Preparing budgets, scheduling spending, and finding ways to reduce cost and increase profit.
Establishing and enforcing health and safety standards.
Support company certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and work actively with improving those areas.
To be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping 5S, proper teamwork.
Coordination between all other departments in achieving compliance with the company's Quality, Environmental & Occupational, Health & Safety Management System.
Job Competency:
At least Diploma/Degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
Minimum five (5) years proven experience in an Operation Manager position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capacity to see the bigger picture while not allowing grand plans to interfere with the everyday running of the team.
Proficiency in business planning software to enable you to create financial projections, reports, and charts.
Good leadership skills, including delegation, time management, and prioritization of tasks.
Creativity and innovation, because you'll be expected to develop new ideas and concepts.
Strong budget development and oversight skills.
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Proficiency in SmartSheet is an advantage.
Able to understand how your job could cause pollution to the environment & depletion of natural resources.
