Operation Manager

Job Summary: Responsible to plan, supervise and monitor operational activities with the objective of improving operational efficiency and achieving operation excellence target within TE Operation Malaysia operating plan and budget.
Job Responsibilities: Policies and Procedures o Develop and implement the manufacturing related policies and procedures in order to align with government regulation and corporate policy.
People Management and Development o Allocate and balance work across direct reports, authorize subordinate to perform tasks in order to enhance their capabilities.
o Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports.
o Mentor subordinates in daily work, provide technical and non-technical training.
o Develop succession plan and employee development plan and monitor the execution.
o Prepare manpower plan and application, conduct candidate interview and give opinion.
o Conduct regular staff meeting on management skills improvement.
o Resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted department performance and retain key talent.
Production Capacity Plan o Develop production capacity plan base on business forecast in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
Manufacturing Management o Manage Assembly, Molding, Stamping Operations along with EHS, Facility, Tooling maintenance and execute production plan.
o Collaborate closely with quality, project engineering, Materials, ME, and solve operational issues, and update the key issues with ASEAN Operations Manager in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
Key Engineering Capability Development o Involve and support (including allocate resource and provide advice) key Engineering capability development in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
TEOA (TE Operation Advantage) Activities o Co-lead TEOA (TE Operation Advantage) activities in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
Production Quality System and EHS o Maintain production quality system in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
o Monitor the implementation of TE EHS policy in production process in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operation excellence.
Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related field.
12- 15 years of manufacturing experience including 8 years of general operational management experience.
