Operation Officer (Kampung Johan Setia)

1. Responsible to ensure that all elements of the distribution process are coordinated to meet customer requirement in a timely delivery and high quality, by maximizing the utilization of trucks and manpower availability.a) Plans delivery by organizing truck loads, routing schedules and driver availability as per ROT(Request of Transport) requirements.b) Fully utilize the resources and systems ie GPS Tracking System to monitor and supervise the driver's delivery status, in order to ensure the timely delivery of consignment. And also to minimize the risk which may resulting company to bear the unnecessary cost ie detention or demurrage.c) Make booking in West Port / North Port System for container collection / pick up.d) Updates the delivery status into System in real time basis within the required time frame.e) Coordinating closely with drivers, report and provide the quick response to the clients, for any issue that may affect the delivery of consignment.2. Coordinating and work closely with Maintenance Department for any breakdown or preventive maintenance, to ensure all trucks and trailers are in the safe and good conditions.3. Work closely with Operation Admin team, to ensure that all trucks and trailers on the road are compliance with the government rules and regulations ie with valid road tax, permit, completed with Puspakom inspection and etc.4. Supervise, manage and strengthen driver's discipline in handling trucks, and to ensure drivers are follow the operation instruction to achieve timely delivery.5. Attending and handling customer's or forwarding agent enquiry, regardless to new order request, status update on existing order and also customer complaint.6.
