Founded in 1972, Ranpak is a multinational organization, is publicly traded on the NYSE (NYSE: PACK) and has over 700 employees worldwide.With business growing strongly across the globe, a fantastic opportunity is now available to join our Asia Pacific Team as Operation Planner in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.Why Join RanpakAn opportunity to be involved in the high-growth sector of sustainable packaging solutions across a broad range of industrial and market segmentsTo have an opportunity for outstanding career developmentTo secure an attractive compensation and benefits packagePURPOSE The Operation Planner will be responsible for availability of local produced and imported finished goods, managing raw components is also a key responsibilitiesREPORTING The Operation Planner reports to Deputy Plant Manager and in matrix to the Managing Director, APAC.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a high service level for all itemsMaintain acceptable finished inventory levels in line with the demandManage raw material planning & inventoryResolve daily issues that come upCollaborate with other departments to create most efficient planningWork towards continuous improvement related to the planning processMAIN TASKSSupport Operations with regard to planning issuesCorrect transformation of quotations to orders for paper and machinesCreating warehouse orders and production orders for machinesDetermine the correct order sizes with regard to maximum dimensions and weight for combinations of different kinds of paper, machines and modes of transportationCollect and combine sales orders, service orders, marketing attributes, etcProcess order changesRespond to questions from Innersales, Marketing, Operations, etc.Support Master Production Scheduler in all attentive tasksMaintain a high service level for all items ranging from converter parts to finished paper and convertersMaintain acceptable inventory levels in line with the demandManage demand planning and forecasting activitiesResponsible for managing new converter planningEvaluate and report on KPIsResolve daily issues that come upCollaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growthWork towards continuous improvement related to the planning process with the Supply Chain Planning teamLead, support and guide the supply chain planning teamAny other tasks assigned by superior.PROFILE Bachelor degree or equal experience. At least 5 year experience as Operation Planner in a production environment. Proven knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system. Convincing and professional towards customers, suppliers and colleagues Independent worker but also team player. Way of thinking aimed at problem solving. Analytical and observant. Hands on attitude. Must be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in English and Bahasa Malaysia a plusGood knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of paper is preferred.
