Job Description SummaryProvide support and assist the Training Unit Manager in planning, administering and implementing technical and development training programs for Manufacturing employees, in particular for Direct Labour**Job Description**:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage training and development of Direct Labour employees.- Support to continuously improve standardized work program throughout the plant.- Organize the training/on-the-job training for new Manufacturing employees to enable accurate job performance.- Ensure proper administration and filing of training documentation for all Operation areas, such as On-Job Training modules, Cross-Training modules, Periodic Training, Product Knowledge and Defect Awareness.- Establish an approach and methodology to continually improve the effectiveness of Manufacturing training in the plant.- Conduct needs assessment and analysis and propose training recommendations to address gaps identified from cross-functional quality processes.- Design and develop training content and material for technical training, schedule and deliver training for associates in Manufacturing.- Revise and continuously improve training documentation and materials to keep pace with learning best practices and technical changes.- Publish and prepare reports on training delivery and effectiveness for associates' development and progress.- Create and execute learning strategies and programs for manufacturing associates.- Interact regularly with production floor management to resolve training concerns.- Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.LIMITATION OF AUTHORITIES:- N/AEDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:- Preferably diploma or degree in Human Resource and/or Management, or other disciplines.- HRDF Train the Trainer certification or equivalent is an advantage.EXPERIENCE:- 5 years experiences in training and development, preferably within medical industry.- Ability to conduct technical training is preferred.- Knowledge in using Success Factor SAP software is an advantage.- Knowledge in Facilitation skills and Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.- Problem solving skills to respond to manufacturing issues.LANGUAGE SKILLS:- Able to interact and communicate effectively and good spoken/written skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.- Other languages such as Mandarin,Tamil or Urdu is an advantage.OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Excellent administrative skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams.- Self-motivated, reliable and well organized.- Excellent computer skills, familiarity and proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint ( and preferably with multimedia background or experience).Primary Work LocationMYS Kedah - Bard Kulim (Malaysia)Additional LocationsWork ShiftMY3 Normal 8a-4.45p Group 26 (Malaysia)
