Job Description
The operations executive's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acquiring and allocating resources to support operations.
Arranging and managing advance payments from charterers and final settlements upon voyage completion.
Assisting with commercial analysis, preparation of operational and annual reports, as well as laytime and off-hire statements after each voyage.
Coordinating day-to-day operational activities and liaising with external parties to ensure efficient commercial operations.
Proposing workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.
Updating clients on ship activities, personnel, refinery, and fleet changes.
Maintaining and updating customer databases.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business or a related field.
Experience in a similar position is an added advantage.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers from China.
Work location: Kuching, Sarawak.
