Job Summary:
The Operations Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data, performing analysis, developing and executing demand and supply chain plans that ensure optimal outcomes. The position will support the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes and the improvement of operational efficiency and planning accuracy. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives. The position will require the development of planning models using various planning systems and tools, with a deep investigation, understanding, and analysis of new product development and all commercially launched products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data, performing analysis, developing and executing demand and supply chain plans that ensure optimal outcomes.
Assist with supply chain and operation system core team to develop and maintain supply chain planning models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and manufacturing information to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and master data integrity.
Work with the project management team on New Product Introduction, implementing the demand plan and transition plan based on the product life cycle.
Perform routine forecast and safety stock updates and reviews for finished good SKUs.
Calculate, verify, and monitor forecast and production mode accuracy. Conduct analysis of statistical forecasting models and global demand forecasting planning to identify solutions for future improvement.
Review production build plans for finished goods and sub-assembly parts on a weekly/monthly basis.
Perform ad hoc data analysis for business reporting.
Create and maintain checklists to ensure all steps in the demand planning process are followed and tracked to completion.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Conduct detailed analysis of all required inputs and develop plans with cross-functional input to ensure optimal transitions from prior generation products to next generation products, minimizing obsolete inventory and ensuring timely launches.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Document Control, Engineering, Global Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to ensure complete understanding of requirements and achievement of supply chain goals.
Monitor, review, analyze, and identify issues, develop solutions, communicate project status, and adjust plans as required to keep projects on track.
Support the identification of process improvements and contribute to the implementation of optimization initiatives. Create and update process documents and flows to standardize overall operations planning processes.
Conduct and reconcile capacity and constraint planning parameters to ensure production plans achieve business targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Collaborate with IT/IS to develop and improve planning and operational tools and systems to optimize operations management analysis capability.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
0-5 years' work experience for Jr Analyst, 5-8 years' for Analyst, 8+ years' for Sr. Analyst.
Experience in Demand & Supply Chain Planning, Constraint Capacity Planning, and Inventory Planning and Management.
Advanced Excel skills, data management tools, database, ETL, Microsoft SQL, and SSIS/SSAS/SSRS.
ERP/MRP system experience, such as Rapid Response (R&R), Oracle, SAP, or other major ERP/MRO systems.
Excellent analytical, planning, project management, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding and experience working with Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics/Distribution, and Customer Service.
In-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing Operations, Value-Added, Supply Chain, Forecasting, and Continuous Flow methodologies.
Ability to synthesize and filter inputs from multiple resources to identify key influences impacting success.
Consideration of both micro and macro levels; internal and external forces as they relate to plans and execution.
Effective interaction and communication with all levels of management and individual contributors.
Project management experience.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an Engineering-related field; Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license is required.
