Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Associate to join our team at Westports Holdings Berhad in Kuala Lumpur, MY. As an Associate Level position, the Operations Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and possess a strong ability to adapt to changing environments while working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of projects
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in project management and strategic planning initiatives
- Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of operational processes
- Handle any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations or a similar role
- Strong project management and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
