For the execution of process related activities on the offshore facility to ensure the plant is kept in a constant state of safe and efficient operation readiness.
To assist in other discipline tasks as part of the multi-skill concept.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day monitoring and operation of the production and utilities systems.
Responsible for well testing, casing bleed down, etc.
Responsible for the safe execution of PM/CM work for an allocated area of the facility through the application of the Permit to Work System and adherence to safety procedures & culture.
Ensures continued plant safety, integrity and reliability through the application of specific work/engineering standards and statutory requirements.
Troubleshooting of process and utilities related issues.
Provide fast response to production interruptions.
Ensures that Supervisors are kept informed of the progress and current status of the equipment and work undertaken.
Recording of work history in the CMMS – MAXIMO system to enable data reporting and collection in supporting analysis of facilities performance and failures.
Ensure critical equipment spares/consumables.
Offshore based role – 14 days on/off roster, 12-hour shift.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Possess an ONC or equivalent in Process or other technical discipline or equivalent qualification.
Possess at least five (5) to eight (8) years hands-on experience in production & maintenance in the oil and gas industry.
Proven hands-on operations & troubleshooting experience on a wide range of plant process systems.
Ability to assist other disciplines in carrying out routine tasks.
Malaysian National.
Knowledge in use of CMMS (MAXIMO or its equivalent).
Ability to coach trainees and less experienced technicians.
