PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group's newest expansion in Malaysia, a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang.
The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023.
With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.
PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics' fab in Dresden, Germany.
The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
Job DescriptionJob Overview
To ensure products are tested in right quality and quantity based on the standardized work.
Responsibilities
Trigger technicians/engineers in the event of non-conformities found.
Perform conversion inspection checks according to the work instruction.
Participate in changeover meetings with the MST team.
Perform 6S for individual workstation.
Carry out production checklist for every shift.
Participate in the Production Suggestion System (PSS).
Understand and follow ESD procedures.
Check required poka-yoke and provide information to technicians/engineers.
In case of deviation, press the red or yellow button (Andon System).
QualificationsAt least 1 to 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
A minimum of SPM qualification is required.
Able to work as part of a team and maintain a healthy working environment.
Able to communicate effectively across functions.
Able to contribute new ideas for floor improvement.
Knowledge of BPS tools, Poka-Yoke, and standardized work is an added advantage.
