Details of the offer

Examine eyes for disorders and dysfunction of vision and the visual system, and provide appropriate management for such conditions in partnership with the ophthalmologists and other medical professionals Examine eyes for the purpose of detecting ocular diseases and systemic problems with ocular manifestations at the primary care level and provide the appropriate management of such conditions Examine eyes for the purpose of obtaining biometric measurements Prescribe and dispense optical appliances Ensures that patients are counseled effectively To perform a range of clerical and/or administrative tasks for the Eye Centre as required To be involved in the continuous safety and performance improvement activities within the service and hospital wide Duties that the Head of Eye Centre may assign as deemed fit Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Optometry from an accredited college or university Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council as an optometrist Fresh graduate or with experience are welcome to apply Adequate knowledge of principles and practices of optometry Adequate knowledge of diagnoses, management, and treatment of the visual system and eye diseases or disorders, through non-surgical procedures Must be willing to work in Penang Island Kindly visit our official website for more vacancies: Your application will include the following questions:
