Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Packing Operator to join our team in Ipoh, Malaysia for a 6-month contract position. As a Packing Operator, you will play a crucial role in our packing and filling operations, ensuring that our products are properly packaged and ready for distribution.
Operate packing and filling equipment according to established procedures and guidelinesEnsure accurate and efficient packaging of products, meeting quality standards and production targetsPerform regular quality checks on packed items to maintain high standardsMonitor the packing line for any issues and report problems to supervisors promptlyMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocolsCollaborate with team members to optimize the packing process and improve efficiencyAssist in inventory management by accurately recording packed items and materials usedParticipate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvementsComply with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentProficiency in operating packing and filling equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterityGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamUnderstanding of safety procedures and quality control standardsPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kgPrevious experience in packing or production line work preferredFood handling certification may be required (depending on the industry)Flexibility to work different shifts as neededBasic math skills for accurate counting and recording of packed items
