Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Packing Operator to join our team in Ipoh, Malaysia for a 6-month contract position. As a Packing Operator, you will play a crucial role in our packing and filling operations, ensuring that our products are properly packaged and ready for distribution.
Operate packing and filling equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
Ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products, meeting quality standards and production targets
Perform regular quality checks on packed items to maintain high standards
Monitor the packing line for any issues and report problems to supervisors promptly
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols
Collaborate with team members to optimize the packing process and improve efficiency
Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packed items and materials used
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in operating packing and filling equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Understanding of safety procedures and quality control standards
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg
Previous experience in packing or production line work preferred
Food handling certification may be required (depending on the industry)
Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
Basic math skills for accurate counting and recording of packed items
