At HAYAME'S Caring Wheels @ Caregiver, we provide professional assistance to elderly and disabled individuals, ensuring they have the support they need during medical appointments and daily activities. We are looking for compassionate and reliable Patient/Elder Mobility Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help others, especially those with mobility challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assistance: Safely assist elderly and disabled individuals from their transport to a wheelchair and accompany them throughout their appointments at hospitals, clinics, or dialysis centers.
Provide Physical Support: Help patients sit, stand, and move as needed while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Wheelchair Handling: Assist in moving patients to and from wheelchairs, ensuring proper and safe use of equipment.
Emotional Support: Offer companionship and ensure that patients feel comfortable and reassured during their appointments.
Monitor Well-Being: Be attentive to the patient's physical and emotional state and report any concerns or changes in condition to the family or medical professionals.
Maintain Professionalism: Always maintain a respectful and empathetic approach to caregiving and ensure the dignity of the patient is upheld.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of appointments, patient needs, and any incidents that may occur during care.
Qualifications:
Compassionate Nature: Must have a genuine interest in helping others, especially elderly and disabled individuals.
Physical Fitness: Able to assist patients physically, including lifting and supporting as needed.
Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is a plus. Training will be provided.
Punctuality & Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to commit to scheduled appointments.
Patience & Empathy: Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations while providing patient-focused care.
What We Offer:
Competitive Salary: Starting from RM 1,800 basic salary + additional hourly wages.
Flexible Working Hours: Part-time or full-time positions available.
