**Date**:19 Mar 2024**Location**: MY**Company**:Baba Products**Job Summary (Brief summary of Job Responsibility)**:Required oversee the functioning of the Payroll Department at the strategic (macro) level and is responsible for adherence of multi-state tax laws and to ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.Accountable for the development of checks and balances in order to assure proper processing procedures, as well as establish and enforce payroll best practices to be used company-wide and you must be a driver of efficiency and change within the Payroll function.**Job Description (List of task carried out)**:- Plan, direct, train, manage and coordinate the payroll activities of Offshore and Onshore Teams to ensure the competences, accountability, accuracy, compliance and timeliness of payrolls the teams and process.- Oversee Supplier governance and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll and employment act related regulations.- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforce adherence to requirements; advise management on needed actions.- Develop and implement processes designed to improve current methods of information processing and reporting.- Oversee the facilitation of knowledgeable and positive liaisons within all departments to ensure prompt and effective resolution of questions and problems.- SAP System and employee administration, including preparing reports by compiling summaries of sales commission and other allowances. Managing of third party integrations.- Manage and Monitor all the company General Insurance related matter such as: - 1. Proposal on coverage2. Renewal3. Payment4. Claims- Monitor and manage Motor Insurance related matters such as:- 1. Verifying quotation2. Verifying payment- Overseeing document storage process and procedures either internally and through out sourcing process.- Overseeing and manage fix asset management at overall Baba's companies and its subsidiaries.- Any other related job as may be instructed by the Head of Admin cum Finance department from time to time.**Education Requirement**:- Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree- Minimum 15 year(s) of working experience in HR/Payroll job function.- Preferably Manager specializing in Human Resources / Payroll.**Skills Requirement**:- Ability to analyse HR related data and prepare reports, statements, and projections to the leadership board.- Ability to manage senior level people at the Manager level and coaching the team- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and its amendments, SOCSO, EPF, EIS and relevant income tax rules, procedures and guidelines.- Ability to build team rapport with a willingness to share knowledge and be mentor to subordinate staffs- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel essential) and good knowledge of Word, and Payroll Software.
