Payroll Officer

Working Location: Kuala Baram, Miri (before Asean bridge)**_**1. Payroll Officer****Duties & Responsibilities**- Ensuring all Payroll transactions are processed efficiently for our crews.- Collecting, calculating and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.- Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and non-taxable wages and reporting on this.- Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment and workers compensation payments if necessary.- Resolving payroll discrepancies.- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.- Assist in our crew manning arrangements if necessary.- Performed any other duties as assigned by superior.**Requirement**- Must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource or related field of study.- At least 1 years of working experience in the related field, preferably in payroll.- Able to work independently, good team player with effective time management skills.- Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees.**Working Location : Kuala Baram, Miri.****Working Hours : Mon - Fri : 08:00 - 17:00, Sat: 08:00 - 12:00****Benefits**:- Free parking- Meal providedSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Miri: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)**Experience**:- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)License/Certification:- driving license (preferred)
