Responsibilities:
Processing payroll from data collected in the system and managing payroll calculations, validations of payment requests, and processing of payments in an accurate and timely manner.
Coordinate with teams in respective country, internal teams, and external system providers to ensure smooth payroll operations and system enhancements.
Provide payroll-related reports, and support-related inquiries, maintain and update payroll guidelines and procedures regularly.
Be involved in internal and external payroll audits from time to time.
Seek continuous improvements of payroll activities and related service standards to internal customers and external vendors.
Proactively advise management of payroll issues and work with relevant parties or payroll teams to provide resolution and colleague experiences.
What you will need to be successful:
Have relevant experience working in a regional payroll operation environment, preferably for a large MNC and/or Regional Shared Service Centers.
Hands-on experience in compensation, benefits, social security contribution, income tax calculation, and labor law/ regulations for the respective country under your care.
Possess strong data analysis ability and able to manage confidential information professionally.
Is positive, self-motivated, and a team player.
Good spoken and written communication skills in English and local language.
