Role Overview We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our People & Culture team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in managing and executing critical HR processes, with a focus on payroll accuracy and compliance.
Additionally, you'll collaborate with the People & Culture team, Finance, and other departments to address various employee inquiries, support HR operations, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
This position offers the opportunity to expand into broader HR functions, contributing to projects that drive employee engagement, process improvements, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and review payroll cycles, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain and update payroll data, including but not limited to employee changes, new hires, terminations, leaves, and benefits.
Ensure payroll data accuracy and manage necessary adjustments.
Support any payroll inquiries, addressing employee concerns professionally and providing clear, timely responses.
Stay current with all payroll laws and regulations, ensuring company payroll practices meet legal requirements.
Work with legal and finance teams to apply changes when necessary.
Prepare payroll reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders, including Finance and People & Culture departments.
Identify and implement improvements to streamline payroll processes, reduce processing time, and enhance data accuracy.
Coordinate with external payroll vendors and service providers to ensure efficient service delivery and issue resolution.
Assist with payroll-related audits by preparing necessary documentation and providing required information in a timely manner.
Engage in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, exploring broader HR responsibilities such as employee relations, benefits administration, and employee engagement activities.
Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within a fast-paced, multi-national company.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, strong numerical aptitude, and proficiency in payroll software (e.g.
JustLogin, ADP, Workday).
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of handling confidential information with integrity and maintaining a high level of discretion.
A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving payroll-related issues, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
