Key Responsibilities:
Ensures the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely.
Manages the Leaver process on the relevant payroll system, ensuring all deductions are made from final pay.
First point of contact for all employee and departmental queries, owner of the payroll help email address.
Runs the monthly payroll from start to finish, from opening a new pay period through to sending the monthly payment files.
Imports and checks relevant employee benefits information.
Reviews employee tax codes on a regular basis, to ensure that staff are being taxed correctly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline of Human Resource, Finance, Accounting or related field.
Possess 4 to 5 years of work experience in handling payroll, preferably in a HR Shared Service Centre background and with APAC exposure.
Strong end-to-end Payroll and Tax related experience in local and regional payroll function under fast-paced work environment.
High attention to details with ability to deliver quality output whilst working under pressure and agreed timelines.
Computer literacy, analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details are required.
Advance skillsets in Microsoft Excel and Automation (RDA, RPA & etc).
