Pcb Repair Technician

PCB Repair Technician We are currently seeking a PCB Repair Technician for mass-production, complete PCBs. The role is for failure identification of NG PCBs and repair as part of the QA in the assembly line. Training on the particular aspects of the PCBs and programming will be provided. Responsibilities and Duties: - NG PCBs from production line are to be investigated to identify the fault. - Fault report log updates. - Repair of the NG PCB to feedback into the system. This may involve de-soldering, part replacement, soldering. Components are SMD 0805 and through-hole. - Repair log updates. - Perform incoming inspection of complete PCBs from sub-con. Skills Required: - Working knowledge of PCBs boards, component handling, ESD procedures. - Soldering SMD and discrete components. - Ability to read PCB schematics. - Experience in Fault reports and Repair logs. - Able to work alone. - Proficient in English, written and spoken. Beneficial Skills: - Knowledge on IC programming methods. - Ability to read Gerber files. Remarks: Other duties may be assigned in the production or QC roles if no repairs are required (flexible role).
