Evaluate ICT test coverage and propose enhancements to ensure comprehensive testing of electronic assemblies.
Guide the cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Partners and Layout Houses, on design for manufacturing and test prior to production release, ensuring an optimal balance between PCB layout and testing requirements.
Provide guidance in developing and implementing robust test methodologies that align with industry standards and best practices.
Qualify and release testers for production by analyzing key metrics including cycle time, throughput, programming verification, and GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility)
Lead discussions and workshops with cross-functional teams to refine testing strategies and improve product quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex ICT-related issues during development phases with Contract Manufacturing Partners.
Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide actionable insights to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
Stay updated on emerging manufacturing testing technologies, including ICT technologies, guide feasibility studies, and recommend adoption of new tools or techniques to enhance testing capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Proven experience in ICT fixture design, test coverage assessment, and test methodology development within the manufacturing industry.
General understanding of Flying Probe setup and test coverage.
Experience in reviewing PCB layouts and providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) recommendations is highly desirable.
Familiarity with manufacturing and ICT testing for x86-based server and storage products.
Deep understanding of PCB manufacturing principles and electronic components.
Proficiency in ICT equipment, fixture design, and software tools (e.g., Teradyne, Keysight), as well as CAD software for fixture design.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and Manufacturing Partners.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience with ICT bring-up, fine-tuning, troubleshooting, and working with board designers, layout engineers, and test fixture vendors, including providing detailed DFM (Design for Manufacturing) guidance to meet ICT requirements.
